Groupon is so underrated. It amazes me how so many people, especially moms, are not utilizing it to their advantage. Thanks to Groupon, I had the best “pampered” 43rd birthday! Yes, 43! I know…I know…I don’t look a day over 33! The key to that is self-care and when mom is happy, everyone is happy.
Like I said before, I recently celebrated my 43rd birthday and I did Vegas, BIG TIME with my girlfriends but when I came home, I wanted to take some time, just for me and Groupon helped me do just that. In case you aren’t aware, they are not only great for “Things To Do” but are awesome for Heath, Beauty & Wellness Groupons, as well.
I decided to start my week of pampering with a great deal on a weight loss package that was regularly $ 180 and I only paid $49! I figured that it’s time to get myself back into shape and the medical weight loss program will help kick that off.
Next, I bought a series of pilates classes and let me tell you, that class kicked my ass!! I almost didn’t make it through my first class but I determined to finish and I did. The studio was awesome and the instructor was really good. I only paid $49 for a series of 5 classes, the regular price is $115. What a savings, right?
After getting the weight thing going on, it was time for the “fun” stuff! I decided to purchase a spa day package and spent the day pampering myself. For $305 (regularly $445), I spent the day at the spa and received 3 spa services. I received a Swedish massage, a hydrating body wrap and a deep-cleansing facial, as well as access to the steam room, hot tub, sauna and pool. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the champagne and valet parking. SCORE! I had the best day!!!
On my quest to be a better more sexier me, I saw a Groupon for eyelash extensions and thought, why not? Silk eyelashes for $85 instead of full price of $150. YES!!!
Last but not least, you have to have a mani and pedi, right? I couldn’t be fabulous and my hands and feet are looking a mess, so I paid $22 (regularly $50) for a deluxe mani and pedi, complete with paraffin wax and a 10 minute foot massage! Oh…the foot massage. I could have kissed that lady! LOL!
As you can see, Groupon helped me have the best pampered 43rd birthday and the best part about the entire thing, besides looking and feeling fabulous was that I saved a whopping $410!!! Thanks Groupon!!
