Single for Valentine’s Day? Treat Yourself with My Fab Finds

Fashion / Featured / Features / From the Editor / Slider / Slides / February 6, 2017

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and everybody will be doing it BIG TIME for the Book’and the Gram.  You know what I’m talking about, pic after pic of all the things their Boo’s bought them to show how much they love them, while the other 364 days they are fussing, fighting and screwing the next door neighbor. Please excuse my petty self. (I’m just saying, though)

So you’re single this Valentine’s Day and I don’t care how many times you try to tell yourself that you’re cool with being single, Valentine’s Day is just one of those times when being single ain’t even cute and probably the one day of the year that you kinda…just kinda…wish that you had someone special in your life, hell, if for no other reason than to get some of that Valentine’s Day love showered on you in the form of a gift or two.

Well, Loves, if there is no one to do it for you, you will have to just do it for your damn self and with that being said, here are a few of my finds and favorites that you can love on yourself with and shit, if you want to, you can do it for the book and the gram, too.

Check out these Valentine’s Gifts you can get for your damn self:

Sugar Polish from Salubria

There is nothing worse than dry, cracked skin and even though it is still winter and all, you have no excuse for scratching up the sheets with your rough feet, even if you are single. This sugar polish from Salubria “is designed to nourish while exfoliating using Morena sugar, coconut, olive and essential oils as well as other specially selected ingredients, leaving a fresh and glowing finish.” Get your life and head over to Salubria to get you some. (Price: $15.50)

A Dope Clutch From Izzy and Liv

If you are anything like me, you can always appreciate a dope ass clutch. This bag from Izzy and Liv is beyond cute.  It is available in two sizes, 2.5″x8.5″ or 8.5″x6″ so you can either get one to use as a makeup bag or as a clutch. I prefer the clutch because it is most def a statement piece. Although, I love this one, they have some badass ones that will make you drop more than a few coins on more than just one. (Prices: $20-$25)

ANYTHING From Jo Malone

Jo Malone is by far one of my favorite brands for fragrances.  It is a British brand that understands that fragrance is a personal statement. Their scents can be worn alone but you can create your own signature scent by layering them. You can “find a precise ‘fit’, a scented statement perfectly suited and tailored to your taste.” Trust me when I say, you will absolutely love it! (Prices: $65-$470)

A Wrap Dress From The Onion

Valentine's-day-gifts-for-singles1

I’m all for being sexy no matter who you are or what your relationship status is and this wrap dress from The Onion will keep you on point. Everybody knows (in my Phadrea Parks voice) that a wrap dress looks good on every woman, no matter their size. This dress comes in sizes 2-20 and is handmade. Trust me, you will thank me later. (Price: $135)

If nothing else, I hope my finds and favorites made you do a little something, something for yourself for Valentine’s Day.  Remember, being single is just your time to do you, so Loves, take the time this Valentine’s Day to DO YOU!

What did you think of my favorites and finds?
