How You Hurt Me – Poem

Dating & Relationships / November 7, 2013

I loved you with all my heart and soul
I’ve never loved this way
Everyday I brought sunshine in your life
Treated you so good
It’s a shame you didn’t feel the same way
You hurt me, made me cry
What a dumb little thing I was to believe you
You deceived me with your lies
Loving you made me put aside my pride
And let you mistreat me
But yet you said you loved me
Guess you didn’t really understand its meaning

How you hurt me - poem

You never showed me any affection
You betrayed me, cheated me, caused me pain
You have done me wrong many times
I welcomed you with open arms
And I just kept on hoping that you would change
You would fool me with your sweet talking
And I would fall for that
Trying to be a player got you losing
The most precious thing you have ever had

This is a beautiful (very emotional) poem. I’m a guy but it got me. Well done, Mstwyla.
