I came across these images of children’s drawings of  9/11.  I never gave thought to how children remember and/or viewed 9/11.  These pictures drawn by children speak volumes.

We don’t stop and think about what life has been like for the children who grew up with that as one of their biggest memories from childhood. Now they understand why it happened. But as hard as it was for us I can’t imagine how hard it is to try and understand that as a child.
