Catch Me Elsewhere
Well, Damn!! Our girl, Kenya Moore can’t seem to catch a break. I watched it and I know several of you did, too…Kenya on Millionaire Matchmaker. When she was matched with that tall drink of water, James Freeman, I was actually hoping that she would FINALLY get a chance to twirl down the aisle but honey, all that was put to rest when Kenya released this statement:
“Unfortunately, I just learned today that the man I met and fell in love with on Millionaire Matchmaker was married a week after the show aired. I am astounded and devastated to have learned this news via social media instead of from him directly. However I still believe in love and my heart remains open to the man God has for me. I wish him well.”
Well damn! After the little things that she was saying on the show about finding someone and everything was going good, how in the hell did he marry someone else and she not know?
But WAIT, “King James’,” as he likes to be called, new bride, Jaimi Gregory Freeman, decided she wasn’t doing to allow Kenya to twirl around the truth and gave a little 411 on how things REALLY went down. According to Radar Online:
On How & When She Met James & When They Were Married
James was on Millionaire Matchmaker in September and I met him in December. We met on Match.com and three months later we were engaged. Then on Good Friday, April 3, 2015 we got married. We just knew right away that we were in love.”[James] totally forgot he even did the show and so when the commercials started airing he told me all about it.
On What Really Went Down With James and Kenya
He said he went on two or three dates after the show aired with Kenya. He told me they just kissed and nothing else. He said she just wasn’t the right person for her, but he wished her the best.”
On James Telling Kenya Not To Call Anymore
Kenya wrote to him [a few times since the show aired] saying that they should celebrate since their ratings were so high. But he told her that he had met someone and fell in love so it wasn’t appropriate for him to talk with her anymore.”
Kenya wrote to him [again] and told him that he hurt her brand. Of course he didn’t respond to her. But a little more than a week ago she reached out again and told him she needed a favor. When he asked what it was she told him she needed to talk to him in person. He didn’t want to do that so he didn’t respond.
There it is. I’m not sure what can be said after that but it seems that another one bites the dust for Kenya. Hopefully, someone new will twirl into her life soon. Good luck, girl!
