Rochelle Sterling suddenly had enough of her husband’s mistress and filed a lawsuit to try “to recover community property.”
Yes, you read that right! Rochelle Sterling is suing her husbands girlfriend of 4 years because her husband, Donald Sterling, owner of the Los Angeles Clippers and by most accounts, a racist because he used community property to purchase lavish gifts for his girlfriend.
According to The Los Angles Times, Rochelle Sterling describes Vanessa Stiviano, “as a gold digger who seduces older, wealthy men and persuades them to shower her with gifts.” Really, Mrs. Sterling? Did she receive “lavish gifts” totally nearly 2 million dollars from your husband by seducing him? Is that what you believe she did?
What I don’t understand is why you waited 4 years to do anything, much less, file a lawsuit against the women that your husband of 50 years, has been publicly dating for 4 years? Is it because the women in the country club are starting to snicker behind your back, or did you just realize that of the over billion dollars that you and your husband are worth, a few million has come up short? Are you upset that your husband, has not only purchased the following for Stiviano: $1.8 million for a duplex near The Beverly Center, a Ferrari, two Bentleys and a Range Rover but has also given her $240,000 in living expenses?
What you should be mad at is the fact that your husband was so pussy whipped that he not only purchased those things for her, but used his little head and put them all in her name. Now you want to argue that the gifts were given with community property money without your consent? What man asks his wife’s permission to purchase gifts for his mistress? Per The Los Angles Times, “The property was supposed to be held in the Sterlings’ name, Rochelle Sterling contends, but Stiviano has title and has refused to relinquish it.” My question to this is would it have been okay if he purchased the duplex for his mistress IF he had kept everything in his name?
Besides, let be real…you KNEW he had a girlfriend and up until recently you weren’t too worried about it, probably because she did all the things that you can’t do or won’t do at 80 years old for your man.
What is extremely laughable about this entire lawsuit is that Rochelle Sterling described Stiviano in court documents that were filed in Los Angles County Superior Court on March 7th as “a gold digger who seduces older, wealthy men and persuades them to shower her with gifts.” Stiviano should be suing her for slander and defamation of character. Where did she get her facts from?
According to NJ.com, “In response to the lawsuit, Stiviano said Rochelle Sterling had to know her husband had romantic relationships outside the marriage, although Stiviano does not admit to being Sterling’s mistress. She mocks Rochelle Sterling’s assertion that the “feminine wiles of Ms. Stiviano overpowered the iron will of Donald T. Sterling, who is well-known as one of the most shrewd businessmen in the world.”
Rochelle Sterling should have spoken up and put her foot down from day one when she learned about her husband’s mistress. Four years later is a little too late to try to make demands on what your husband has spent on his side chick. A million dollars is just a drop in the bucket when you have billions of dollars. Write it off as a charitable expense and keep it pushing, Rochelle.
