Catch Me Elsewhere
I have been anticipating this film, since I first heard and wrote about it earlier this year. Now, the trailer for The Single Mom’s Club has been released and I believe that it will be a great film, true to form for Tyler Perry. In case you haven’t heard of it and don’t know what it is about…
Brought together by an incident at their children’s school, a group of single mothers from different walks of life bond, and create a support group that helps them find comedy in the obstacles of life, as well as their inner strength to overcome their personal challenges.
As a Single Mom and covering this topic, so many times, even in the October issue of Ebony Magazine (shameless plug), all women are not single moms because they were irresponsible and had sex and became pregnant by someone who refused to take care of their child, many women are single moms due to divorce, death or they may have decided to adopt a child. From the trailer of The Single Mom’s Club, it seems that Tyler Perry captured the different types of Single Moms and as only Tyler Perry, himself, can do. The film will tell a story, teach a lesson and leave you with something to think about.
The cast includes, Single Mom Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Zulay Henao, Amy Smart, and Cocoa Brown, Eddie Cibrian, William Levy, Terry Crews, Ryan Eggold, and of course, Tyler Perry.
